about me

My therapeutic background is in bereavement, grief and other forms of loss including life-limited illnesses and relationship breakdowns. I was a bereavement counsellor at Macmillan Wellbeing Centre in Manchester for two years before becoming self-employed.
Other issues I also work with on a daily basis include work related stress, anxiety, general stress disorder, body image and self-esteem issues, ADHD, eating disorders, panic attacks, insomnia, fertility issues and Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
I worked as a press officer for nearly 20 years in the arts and charity sector. I have supported a number of charities over the last 15 years and a mixture of people who have a story to tell. Be it a couple who have been affected by having or losing a premature baby, survivors and people living with cancer, a visual disability, and people affected by dementia.
